It is available to all serving Police Officers. The flat, which is on the 1st floor above Auchterarder Police Office, is situated in Auchterarder's High Street. Accommodation comprises three bedrooms (one double and two with two single beds in each), a large lounge with colour TV, Video and CD Player, dining table and chairs, fully fitted kitchen, shower room and toilet. There is ample parking to the front and side of the building. (DO NOT PARK IN THE REAR YARD - THIS IS FOR STAFF AND OPERATIONAL POLICE VEHICLES ONLY) The flat is situated some 50 miles from Glasgow and Edinburgh and has a local railway station (Gleneagles). There are some excellent golf courses nearby and St Andrews is only 40 miles away. The flat is available for the sum of £25 per night (self catering basis). (Cheques to be made payable to "DPOA") As we do not employ a regular cleaner it is asked that the flat be left as clean and tidy as when you arrived. (We do try to check it after every occupant but with the high turnover of occupants this is not always possible).
