On the 27th of June 2010 a truly charismatic and talented member of the Scottish Hockey community sadly, tragically and suddenly passed away at the tender age of 27. Richard was a huge character in the lives of his family, friends and the members of Inverleith Hockey Club.

To all who knew him, it was very clear that his memory must never be forgotten therefore an Indoor Hockey Tournament and supporting Diabetes UK Scotland with a charity dinner were seen as suitable and fitting ways to do that.
